Recently, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced the beginning of the second stage of development of Uzbekistan, and on September 21 the Decree “On Approving the Strategy of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019-2021” was published in the country’s media,

This strategy establishes “the development of human capital as the main factor determining the level of the country’s competitiveness in the world arena and its innovative progress.” The Strategy also emphasizes the need to “improve the quality and coverage of education at all levels, create a system of continuing education, provide flexibility in the training system based on the needs of the economy.”

In the modern world economy in recent years there has been a new trend – a rapidly growing demand for organic agricultural products, including multi-color organic cotton. Large world companies are beginning to show real interest in making clothes from such cotton, because the demand for clothes made from organic cotton is growing all over the world.

Therefore, one of the directions of development of the innovation economy of Uzbekistan should be the cultivation of multi-color organic cotton. This, of course, will require an innovative reform of the country’s cotton economy and the formation of a special clothing cluster with the brand “multi-color organic cotton” together  with the world’s largest clothing companies. For example, here in the US, this company Gap Inc. – the largest clothing retailer in the US and the owner of the second largest chain of clothing stores in the world.

And, of course, this will require the training of a large number of specialists to work in the field of organic agriculture, especially among women. And in this work the participation of the public organization “Association of Business Women of Uzbekistan” Tadbirkor ayol “will be very necessary.”
