Appeal to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev

Mr. President!

You stated about the necessity of innovative development of Uzbekistan!
But the Uzbek government allowed Montblanc Commodities AG (Switzerland) to build a pesticide plant in the country. The use of pesticides in agriculture always worsens the quality of the environment and harms people’s health. The use of pesticides is illiterate and primitive, obviously not an innovative technology.

For a truly innovative development of agriculture, it is necessary to use biological methods of plant protection from insects, and in Uzbekistan there are already necessary conditions for this.
There are about 800 biological laboratories in the country that will be able to ensure the production of entomophages in the required quantity.
Therefore, I urge you to invite the government to abandon the construction of this plant.
