GULI label co-sponsored the ‘Nights in Monaco’ Gala benefiting the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the William J. Clinton Foundation on May 23. The guests were welcomed by Prince Albert II and former U.S. President Bill Clinton. The star-studded charity event featured the likes of actress Diane Kruger with boyfriend Joshua Jackson, Hofit Golan, Billy Zane and jazz singer Caro Emerald among others.

The show presented clothing and decorations loaned from Uzbek museums and private collections in the context of unique photos. A series of Guli jewelry items went under the hammer at a charity auction in support of the environment. The other notable lots at the auction included exquisite jewelry with diamonds by Cora International Diamonds, Carla Amorim and other world-famous jewelry makers.
Gulnara Karimova is a notorious daughter of the Uzbekistan president Islam Karimov, known for her passion to chase celebrity events. In May 2010 Gulnara Karimova was at the center of a scandal surrounding her attendance of the annual “Cinema against AIDS” gala fundraising event organised by the American Foundation for AIDS research (AmfAR) during the Cannes Film Festival.
